1. Introduction
1.1 Background of the Study
Endless problems of identifying what stimuli people find stressful another approach has been to understand the response that people have to stress. Thus if we know you are responding to stress we can also then try to identify the causes by Selye (2005). Stress has become an important term in everyday language, meaningful to most individuals found in society there are different sources of stress regularly encountered by most individual especially students. There are different causes of stress. First is poverty. It is the state of not having enough money to take care of basic needs such as food, clothing, and housing which consists of two important constructs namely lack of funds and other things to be used. It is also the deprivation of food, shelter, money and clothing that occurs when people cannot satisfy their basic needs.

Second is illness (sometimes referred to as ill-health or ailment) which is a state of poor health, a disease, a sickness, or an indisposition. Third are the difficult subjects that require a lot of planning or effort to do, understanding, or dealing with the most difficult subjects that can’t be explained to the most slow-witted man if he has not formed any idea of them already. Fourth is family trouble. No other factor influences children as deeply as their families. Fifth is insufficient allowance, a small sum of money paid regularly by parents to a child so that the child can make his or her own purchases, which family’s income seems insufficient to support the family. And lastly are the failed subjects. This means that you have failed to achieve any exemptions and must retake all subjects you took at this examination sitting before you can complete this stage. According to Tictoc (2013) there are some students who would crack up under pressure. They would at times shout at the top of their voices in the middle of the night. Stress is a part of life. But some manage it while others are managed by it.

1.2 Statement of the Problem
In this part of the chapter, the researchers still have some question that need to be answered. 1.3 General problem:
The researchers are going to find the most common stressor in the 2nd-3rd year Medical Technology students.

1.4 Specific problems
The researchers’ aim to answer the following specific problems 1. What is the most common stressor of 2nd year Medical Technology students? 2. What is the most common stressor of 3rd year Medical Technology students? 3. What is the least common stressor of 2nd-3rd year Medical Technology students?

1.5 Hypotheses
The following are the researchers’ tentative answer to the general problem. -If the highest number of answer of 2nd – 3rd year Medical Technology students is the professors, then the most common stressors among them is the professors, because this gives them a hard time if their professors are not considerable and cannot discuss the lessons accurately and precisely. The following are the researchers’ tentative answer to specific problems. – If the highest number of answer of 2nd year Medical Technology students is “battery exam”, then the most common stressors among them is the upcoming exam, because this serve as qualification to become a 3rd year. – if the highest number of answer of 3rd year Medical Technology students is “school works”, then the most stressor among them is the school works, because this gives them hard time to focus on what to do first. – if the lowest number of answer of 2nd – 3rd year Medical Technology students is “Friends”, then the least stressor among them is friends, because even though they encounter problems, still they solved it within a day. 2. Research Design

2.1. Participants
A quantitative approach will be used in this study, conducting a survey with 100 respondents from the 2nd-3rd year Medical Technology students in Far Eastern University. Of all these 100 respondents, 51% were second year medical technology students and 49% were third year medical technology students, 71% were female and 29% are male. All of them are the participants that answered the questions in the survey or questionnaire sheet about stress. 2.2 Instruments
2.2.1 Survey
The data gathering instrument is the questionnaire or survey sheet. This survey was used to determine the student’s perception about their stressors and knowledge about stress. It is based on the study entitled “stress management as perceived by students” in 2009. The questionnaire is composed of a 12 different questions about stress. The researcher prepared the questionnaire in the English language and the questions that the respondents answered easily by choosing their desired answer or by writing their answer provided for them.

4.2. Findings ( Frequency Tables)

43 or 20.77% of the 2nd year Medical technology students also acknowledge lack of time, specifically in studying, in reviewing, and in doing their assignments or projects, as one of the cause of their stress. Insufficient allowance, having 14 or 6.76%, is the least stressor for them.

Table 4.1.6 shows the frequency and percentage distribution of the respondents grouped according to their overall stressors. It shows that stress comes to anyone with a real cause, and not by accident. It shows that students are not exempted from stress, and most of them 80 or 13.44% acknowledge that difficult subjects leads them to experience stress while studying in their respective schools. Other group of 79 or 12.95% acknowledges that lack of time stresses the students. Adding to these, 72 or 11.80% admit that school works such as 3 quizzes in major subjects in a day, thesis, and requirements. Insufficient allowance, having 22 or 3.61%, is the least stressor for 2nd-3rd year Medical Technology Students. 5. Conclusion

The study was an attempt to identify the possible causes of stress in Medical technology students. A cause of stress is a part of life but some manage it while others are managed by it. This research shows that almost all of the 2nd-3rd year medical technology students are aware about their own perception about stress but still there are some who are not totally aware on it. Result came up with 3 different phases which include 2nd – 3rd year Medical Technology Students stressors based on Choices, that difficult subjects, having 46 or 22.22%, has the highest percentage among all the other stressors for 2nd year students and difficult subjects, having 26 or 23.93 % and Lack of time, having 36 or 23. 93 % has the highest percentage among all the other stressors given by 3nd year students.

Second is frequency and distribution of 2nd – 3rd year Medical Technology Students Other Stressors, according to their personal responsive toward stress it show that most of the 2nd year students responded that battery exam, having 51 or 44%, has the highest frequency of percentage among all the other stressors and school works such as 3 quizzes in minor and major subjects in a day, thesis, and submission of requirements, having 49 or 42%, has the highest percentage among all the other stressors in 3rd year students. Third is the frequency of overall stressors among 2nd – 3rd year Medical Technology students.

Most of them, about 8 or 13.44%, acknowledge that difficult subjects lead them to experience stress while studying. Insufficient allowance, having 22 or 3.61%, is the least stressors according to 2nd – 3rd year Medical Technology Students. The researcher therefore concludes that out of those 3 phases that 2nd-3rd year Medical Technology students ’ encountered their knowledge about stress in their lives shows that stress comes to anyone with a real cause. It is by accident or not. It shows that students are not exempted from it.
