The company’s first vehicle, the Tesla Roadster, is an electric sports car and the highway-capable electric vehicle in the United States. As of December 31, 2009, the company had sold 937 Tesla Roadsters to customers in 18 countries, majority of which were sold to customers in North America and Europe.
