The more involved the parents are the greater the positive impact on academic achievements and world’s society. Lecturing in public schools and education summarizes the relationship between art, communication and knowledge throughout the classroom and social studies. School systems or schools in the same system that are competitive with each other may use better hiring practices and employ higher-quality teachers. Disadvantages of Home Schooling
How home school children misses out socialization with peers? Homeschooled children miss out on the benefits of socialization with children from other backgrounds and exposure to diverse points of view. Since children educated in the home tend to be exposed only to children from families they already know, the result is a social environment that can be lacking in diversity. One of the benefits of attending a large school, even apart from academic instruction, is the opportunity for a child to broaden his horizons by meeting people with different backgrounds and perspectives. Learning how social relationships work in the everyday world with flexibility and time management, according to Koonar (2006), homeschooling is a procedure that entails a massive amount of dedication and time.

Homeschooled children require parental supervision in order to motivate them towards academic excellence. Hence, parents need to spend a large part of the day with their children. The key success in the home schooling process is constant parental control. Kids are kids; they cannot do by themselves in their studies without parental supervision. Parents have to keep astride with their children. Exposing children to different teaching, learning styles, different personality and behavioral types. From safety and facing challenges. Home education presents parents with a difficult proposition. They must foster academic achievement without the resources of a school. Each state in the U.S. regulates homeschooling separately are exempt from federal testing requirements.

Consequently, it is difficult to assess the overall academic performance of home education and homeschooling. Finances with emotional problems and financial stability, list either one of the parents is forced to give up his/her full-time job for homeschooling. There are additional costs for purchasing the curriculum needed. Each child needs approximately $400 each month to sustain his/her study. Spending more money than accumulated on your children’s education than you’re accustomed to can cause a lot of stress and frustration. Disadvantages of Public Education

Bullying and violence in public education, approximately 28 percent of student’s age’s eight to twelve reported being bullied. A higher percentage of public school than private school students reported being bullied on school grounds. Research show the public school in your areas ranks statewide, as well as nationally, as dropout rates and violence are more prevalent in public schools. Although some school funding comes from the federal government, disproportionate resources shows much of it also comes from local taxes, giving students in affluent areas a distinct advantage over their low-income peers. Department of Education study shows that districts spend less money on teacher salaries at schools that serve low-income communities than they do on salaries for teachers at schools in affluent areas because schools in affluent communities recruit teachers with more experience.

The No Child Left behind Act and other similar state and federal legislation require schools to prove they are accountable to the taxpayers who fund them. Frequent testing to meet results are the only way the government measures accountability. Regardless of the state, students in public schools take lengthy accountability tests, and high school students must take cumulative, high-stakes tests such in order to receive a diploma. One of the biggest arguments for small class sizes is that it gives more attention to individual students, as a teacher can spend more one-on-one time with each student. In this way, students’ education is personalized, and they can work more on concepts that they have problems with.

It has been suggested, however, that this may cause greater performance anxiety in each student, as they feel like they are constantly being evaluated and scrutinized. In conclusion, homeschooling versus public schooling is an argument still to date that has gone on for so long being there are no definite answer. Every child is different and every child learns differently. Similarity requirements of the child are simply basis of society and propriety. Either way, the ultimate goal should be optimum advantage learning for the child. If that is maintained manageable without uncontrollable disadvantage, then the mode of schooling is immaterial.
