Database – A collection of data arranged for ease and speed of search and retrieval. Also called data bank. Record– To set down for preservation in writing or other permanent form. Server –A server is a computer program that provides services to other computer programs. Bill – An itemized list of statement of fees or charges.

There is no significant difference between the proposed WEB-Based Reservation with Billing System and the existing system of Hacienda Gracia Resort and Hotel. The proposed study is important in many aspects.
It explores innovative ways in making the guest and server to have an easy way of communicating and processing information and records regarding the reservation and billing system of Hacienda Gracia Resort and Hotel. Locale. This study will give significant help to the locale in the development of service and giving accurate customers information and updates. It can present several benefits to the locale like fastening reservation and billing processes. This study will also eliminate the problem encountered by the function hall and hotel management regarding delinquent reservation that sometimes makes the booking uncollectible. An improvement in the function hall and hotel service attracts more customers to make more reservation.
Respondents. The study is significant for the respondents in making reservation and acquiring information. With regards to the implementation of computer-based system, the respondents can make reservation in a convenient way by eliminating the problems they encountered during manual procedures. Thus, reservation procedures will be hassle-free for the respondents.

In relevance to this, the Hacienda Gracia Resort and Hotel is the researchers’ locale, it is located at Purok 3, Sta. Maria Lubao, Pampanga. The said establishment started in the year 2000 as a large farmland wherein you will see green pastures, still waters, and farm animals. It is owned by Mr. Oscar Garcia and Mrs. Crispina Dayrit-Garcia. The Hacienda serves as a vacation and relaxation place for the owners, until they decided to add swimming pools and opened it to the community as a resort. The name “Hacienda” is derived from the description of a large farmland while “Gracia” – is from the shuffled letters of the owner’s family name – “Garcia”.
There is a function hall which serves as a gathering place and two swimming pools (for children and for adults) are the facilities in the resort. The resort is offering services for social gatherings such as wedding receptions, birthday parties, reunions and other important occasions. Later on, the resort is developed into as Resort and Hotel .The owners put up hotel rooms and a function hall for their guests’ convenience. In the year 2008, the owners decided to improve the amenities of the hotel by adding a retreat house. Because of the good impact created by the Hacienda Gracia Resort and Hotel, the owners are planning for an expansion soon.
