Paragraph 1: This essay is going to compare fresh water management and policy between Canada and United Kingdom. This essay will argue the United Kingdom willing accepts different voice of citizens and carried out efficient regulation against pollution, climate change factor and wastage to reach more supply and less demand of water. Their citizens have higher living standard and more protection under its policy.

Paragraph 2 & 3: In this paragraph will describe the government-business relationship in water industry – fresh water. Paragraph 10 & 11: This paragraph will outline the policy of United Kingdom by drawing various publications. Active, aggressive on regulation, introduce water meter to reach saving target. Although they also threat by drought in middle country but they government work for it by improve regulation times to times.

Paragraph 12 & 13: This paragraph will discuss what criteria should have when assess the policy. Draw on different statistic and publications, it shows both countries can do better in many methods. They can carry out strong regulation on license, abstraction of water and set standard of discharge waste water, establish new infrastructure, better building design, more efficient appliance and improving industrial process.

Paragraph 14 & 15: This paragraph will discuss advantage and disadvantage of their management and policy operating in Canada.

Paragraph 16 & 17: This paragraph will discuss advantage and disadvantage of their management and policy operating in United Kingdom.

Paragraph 18 & 19: These paragraphs will compare which country is better according to the advantage and disadvantage of policy and which is more beneficial to their citizens.

Paragraph 20: This paragraph will address the fact that United Kingdom has better policy in water industry. How they seek to improve and carry out a serious of regulation in these years to ensure their citizens to have more secure and better quality water supply in future, maintain their living standard, in order to sustain green economy.
