The real story of Goldilocks and the 3 bears

Once upon a time, my three cousins invited me to their house for an evening meal, as they had not seen me for a long time. They gave me directions to their house in the forest. They told me that they were going to see their grandma during the same day and would be back in time for the evening meal. In case they were delayed, they would leave the front door unlocked, so that I could at least let myself in, rather than having to wait outside.

That evening, I made my way through the forest to their house. It was a long way away. By the time I got to their house, I was feeling tired and hungry. I knocked on the door, but nobody was at home. I opened the door and let myself in. My cousins had obviously been delayed at their grandma’s.

On the kitchen table, I noticed three bowls of porridge. My cousins were very kind hearted they had obviously made porridge for me. As I was feeling very hungry, I thought I would try the porridge. I tasted the porridge in the first bowl. It was too hot.

So I thought I would try the second bowl. This was too cold. I decided to try the third bowl, and this was just right. I ate it all. It was delicious.

Now that my stomach was full, and my cousins still hadn’t arrived back, I decided to have a little rest. It had been a long walk to their house. I walked into the living room, where I noticed three chairs. I sat on the first chair to rest my feet. This chair was too big for me, so I decided to try the second chair. But this also, was too big. I moved onto the third chair, and this was just right. As I settled down in this chair, it just collapsed and broke into pieces!!

By this time, it was getting quite late, and I was feeling very tired. My cousins still hadn’t come back. So I decided to go upstairs for a nap. I lay on the first bed, but it was too hard for me. I moved onto the second bed, but this was too soft. I thought I would try the third bed, and this was just right. I fell asleep immediately.

As I slept, I heard some noises downstairs, and thought to myself that my cousins were back home and talking amongst themselves. As I was too tired, I decided I would get up and speak with them in the morning. I carried on sleeping. As I slept, I could hear the talking getting louder and louder, until it was so loud that that it woke me up. As I opened my eyes, I saw in front of me three big bears. This made me scream, “Help”. Out of fright, I immediately jumped up and ran out of the room, down the stairs, opened the front door and ran back into the forest, back to my house. Those nasty bears must have eaten my poor cousins. After this experience I decided that I would never ever go back to that house.
