The Science Investigatory Project

The Science Investigatory project determines the possibility of the variety of the inner banana peel and ipil-ipil leaves as shoe polish. This variety of banana peeling compared to other kinds of bananas in particular to the kind of banana called Lacatan is tested to be the most effective kind. Same as the ipil-ipil leaves that become effective because of the properties it has.

Then we compared it to a commercial shoe polish in terms of effectiveness our product did a similar effect on the black leather shoes. Then this test resulted that the scraped banana peel, grinded ipil-ipil leaves, and the pounded charcoal mixed together had no significant difference to the commercial shoe polish.

The procedure used in the experiment was pound the ipil ipil palant.Boil the Banana Peel and get the extract.Pound the charcoal into small pieces.Mix the extract of the ipil ipil plant,banana peel extract and the pound charcoal.

The researchers therefore conclude that banana peel of the Lacatan banana, ipil-ipil leaves, and baby oil mixed together by the procedure seen in the Appendix A and Methodology, the researchers showed a potential product for an alternative shoe polish for black leather shoes.
